Yamaha Launched Two New Bikes In India

There are two new bikes launched in the Indian market on Tuesday by the famous automobile company, the Yamaha Motor Co. and the bikes are named as the YZF-R1 and MT01. Both the bikes are coming with a nice sporty look and the consumers specifically the young fashionable bikers of India will be delighted with the looks. The officials of the company have informed that the new bikes will be available at a price range that starts from Rs 10.50 lakh.

While talking about the technical specifications of the new bikes, one of the top officials of Yamaha said that the new YZF-R1 is actually a style model and a 1,000 cc engine will power it. The engine is really powerful and having the same capacity as the engines that are powering the cars like the Zen Estilo and WagonR. The YZF-R1 is capable of delivering a power of 152 bhp @ 10500 rpm and the torque of the bike is 104.9 NM @ 8500 rpm. The bike is 2040 mm in length and 705 mm in width.

Yamaha Launched Two New Bikes In IndiaWhen asked about the other model, the MT01, the official stated that they have made the bike as a cruiser style model and the 1.6-litre engine of this bike is having the same power of the engine of a mid-sized sedan like the Suzuki SX4. The horsepower of this bike is 34 bhp @ 11250 rpm and it is coming with a torque of 20 NM @ 10000 rpm. The official of the company also informed that they are planning to sell about 100 units of these two bikes in India, every year. The company is also going to import the bikes as the fully built units from Japan. It can be said here that the Indian government has given the permission of importing motorcycles with engine capacities of over 800cc in the early parts of this year. That permission really smoothened the way of these bikes coming to India.
